Chocolate Bar Personal Branding

Using our personality as inspiration, my final project in my graphic design course “Text,” was to create the packaging for a food item of our choice. We were asked to design a presentation for the packaging as well, to demonstrate our use of a personal logo, choices in type and font styling, color palette, 3D product renderings, and to showcase our process overall.

I designed a dark chocolate bar wrapper, made by “ect. chocolatier,” a play off of my initials (Elodie Claire Thelliez). As an outdoorsy individual, I decided to create a wrapper that hinted at abstract mountains and organic interpretations of an outdoor landscape. My color palette is natural but bright, and the font polished and neat. Creating this entire product and visual identity was incredibly exciting to me, and made me realize that I would love to go into graphic design and create brand identities, considering style, context, colors, and overall design to properly represent an individual’s or a company’s identity.
